SAVE Britain's Heritage
It was created in 1975 - European Architectural Heritage Year - by a group of journalists, historians, architects, and planners to campaign publicly for endangered historic buildings. Through press releases, lightening leaflets, reports, books and exhibitions, SAVE has championed the cause of decaying country houses, redundant churches and chapels, disused mills and warehouses, blighted streets and neighbourhoods, cottages and town halls, railway stations, hospitals, military buildings and asylums.

Images of England
Images of England, working in partnership with over 1,500 volunteer photographers, is building a digital library of photographs of England's 370,000 Listed Buildings. Text and images will be added to this site regularly during the project and many thousands are there for you to view now.

The Georgian Group
The Georgian Group campaigns against the neglect, maltreatment and destruction of Georgian buildings, parks and gardens in England and Wales. The Group also seeks to promote the enjoyment and understanding of the Georgian heritage by an active programme of education and publications. The Twentieth Century Society
The Twentieth Century Society is a national amenity society that campaigns to preserve and protect the best British buildings of the twentieth century. It advises on listed building alterations and helps to find viable uses for good twentieth century buildings threatened with demolition. Membersship is open to all and members enjoy an extensive programme of events from evening lectures to weekend study trips.

Save Our Parsonages
SOP was set up in 1995 to oppose the sale by the Church of its traditional rectories and vicarages. It opposes such sales on pastoral, practical, and financial grounds, and for community and Church heritage reasons.
