 The Professional Alliance was launched in November 2007, as a partnership based initiative aimed specifically at companies who have a particular involvement in the work of restoring the fabric of many of the UK’s churches, chapels and meeting houses.

Accessing organisations to assist on church projects can be difficult. We hope the Professional Alliance will help congregations find companies – from architects to restorers – who specialise in historic church buildings. We also believe in the importance of protecting the traditional craft skills prevalent in the building and conservation of church buildings.
