Thank you very much for your most generous donation of £3,000… At the time the local contributions had slowed, but with the announcement of your grant in the parish magazine, the local paper and by word of mouth, the appeal was given a significant boost and many more donations came in. We have been particularly surprised at the number of donations we have received from non church goers, who clearly feel the importance of maintaining a rural church such as ours, which we have found particularly moving and encouraging.
